Planted in 1978 by John Weisinger and his three children, the Weisinger Estate Gewürztraminer was one of the first vineyards planted in the Ashland area. The self-rooted vines are planted at an elevation of 2235 ft. in deep soils consisting mostly of decomposed granite. Low yielding, the vineyard consistently produces intensely aromatic wines with bright acidity and varietal character.
