2021 Malbec

I believe it takes years to get to know a vineyard.  It requires time to learn how best to approach the fruit, such as when to pick it, or whether or not an extended maceration (allowing the skins to sit with the wine post fermentation prior to pressing) will add suppleness to the tannin profile or not.  And only through time will one ever know how a wine from a particular vineyard will age.  Time; it is a constant theme with wine.
